I have taken an unfortunate and unplanned hiatus from writing due to adventures in my life that I will eventually let you all in on. I know that while I have been gone everyone here at this fabulous site has been keeping you all greatly entertained and informed. So here I come again hopefully to gain a little insight on that which seems to be taking my mental focus out of range. I don’t know exactly what to do and I would love some input.
We all know it’s all about the BlackBerry ladies and gents and without our little pocket size life managers we can hardly take a step. I am one of these people and that is where you all come in. My current device is the BlackBerry Storm. I love my phone I can say it has been good when it has done what it’s supposed to but lately it has been letting me down quite a bit. I get the regrettable and ridiculous hour glass all the time and yes I have gone to Verizon and my phone has already been exchanged twice. I must tell you that that hourglass has given me more pain than my three kids as they exited my petite body, and at times I have wanted to launch my beloved little machine out of my speeding car window. So my thought is this. I have been thinking of going back to my 8830 world edition. I’m not certain whether I should however, and I would love some opinions on it. I was playing with my 8830 this week and the trackball and key pad brought me back. I do love my Storm but the issues are becoming overwhelming. The lagging, the hourglass and at times even the fact that the texting can get difficult with misspelled words and such. I can get severely annoyed at times. I have tried to manage it for I know that the benefits of the Storm are remarkable and I have not used my 8830 in quite a while. I do miss the track ball however but most of all I miss the key pad. The easy texting. I have been recommended the Tour but I know nothing of it so I will have to research it and I have also been recommended to go back to the curve so you guys tell me. I am perplexed folks. I am disillusioned with my Storm but I also wonder if the OS has been improved on the 8830 and I don’t want to take a step forward to take a step back. But if new benefits have been brought to the fore I would love to know. It would make the decision much easier . And so you have now been privy to my dilemma so I ask you, what would you choose? |
